New York offers three great outdoor places for skating - The Rockefeller Plaza rink is open from 9am till midnight on Fridays and Saturdays and 10pm on other nights. Central Park has two popular ice skating rinks - the Lasker Rink and the Wollman Rink. The Wollman Memorial Rink in Central Park has ice skating during the winter months, in a lovely setting on 64th street and in the summer the rink is used for roller skating. Skates can be hired from both these locations.
