There are two branches in New York.
Make sure you ask for a copy of the ISIC Student Handbook at the same time.
This book is a must for students and will tell you the places and services
that offer student discounts throughout the whole of the United States. Some

attractions, nightclubs and restaurants.
For most people thinking about working in the US it is a very difficult and
long process to try and obtain the right visas and permits. For most it is
near impossible, however for students it is somewhat easier. They are
allowed to work as part of the various exchange programs or as interns. The
Student Travel Association in the UK, New Zealand or Australia will be able
to provide details to students about working holidays in New York. The
Council on International Educational Exchange in London can also provide
valuable information.
