The Fairways of Halfmoon golf course opened in 1988 and is an 18 hole, par 71 public course, situated to the west of Mechanicville.
This is a testing course for golfers old and new, with its array of bunkers and tree lined fairways, making accurate shots a must in order to score well.
The water features surrounding most of the holes provide a tough test for the more experienced golfers and the fast greens take some practice in order to come away with a modest scorecard.
There is a glass-enclosed clubhouse serving a variety of food and beverages with a large open air deck looking out over the beautiful course.

McGregor Links Country Club boasts one of the toughest courses in the Saratoga Springs region and is the premier club for not only golf, but swimming and tennis as well.
The 18 hole course has one of the highest slope ratings of the PGA’s Northeast region and offers a tough test to non members Mondays to Thursdays.

There is a Pro Shop onsite which is open from 7am to 7pm, Monday to Sunday.
The shop is an authorized Ping and Titleist club fitting centre and carries a great selection of golfing accessories.

The Shinnecock Golf Club is widely known as one of the most prestigious golf courses in the world and considered to be the first world class course to be built in the US. It has been host to the US Open in 1985 and 1996 and will play host again to the US open in 2004.
This is a private golf club and guests are not permitted to play the course.
Shinnecock Hills is also the first club to allow women in its membership. The club has the first and oldest clubhouse in the U.S., which opened in 1892 and was designed by Stanford White.

Hillendale golf course is an award winning 18 hole course, located in the breathtaking Fingers Lake region of Upstate New York. This is open to the public from April through to October. There is a restaurant onsite, offering great food from traditional sandwiches to tasty steaks.

Hillendale boasts the largest practice facility in all of Tompkins County. There is a 2,500 square foot putting green and a 350 yard driving range, featuring grass teeing areas, both available from sunrise to sunset. The putting green and practice bunker are the best place to polish your skills and are available at no extra charge.

Ballyowen Golf Club: This course was unveiled June 26th 1998 and already it has commanded the respect of the golfing public. The course is situated on 259 acres and it flexible tee settings make it a test to all golfers of varying skill levels.
